So that you can use Lano in its entirety, you have to add some important information to your profile. 

All data in your profile can also be seen by your clients. Thereby your profile is your virtual business card and oftentimes the first contact point when clients are looking for the right partner for an assignment. 

Please take a few minutes to complete your profile. Click on the avatar next to your name on the top right and go to “My Profile”.

Profile 

Clients can find you easier and assign you better if you have a profile picture. To upload a picture, just click on the avatar and choose a picture. 

You can also change your e-mail address, your name, your password and your language settings here at any time. 

Additional Info 

Complete all the data that is necessary for the communication with clients and for invoicing. 

Personal Information: 

You have already entered your date of birth and your telephone number when you registered. If necessary you can change it here. If you check the box, customers can also send you order requests via SMS. 

About me: 

Here you can write a few sentences about yourself, e.g. about your professional qualifications and your professional career. If you want to use different descriptions for different customers, set this here accordingly. 

Skills: 

Here you can enter your special fields or special abilities, which will help your customers to find you faster in their network. Your skills appear on your virtuel business card (see end of article).

Address: 

Here appears automatically the address that you provided when you registered. If you want to have a different address on your invoices, specify it here. 

Accounting

This information is necessary in order to invoice and be paid through Lano. 

Account type: 

First choose if you are working as a freelancer or if you are running your own business.

Account Settings: 

Please provide your VAT ID, your tax rate, your Registration Number and your bank details.  

If you want to use different data for different customers, specify this here. 

Rates (optional): 

Here you can provide your professional fee.   

Invoice settings (optional):

Enter the deadline for your customers to pay you. 

Social Media 

If you like you can also connect with your clients through LinkedIn, Xing, Twitter or Instagram and provide your own website. By doing so you can provide your clients with more information about you, for example show your portfolio or a detailed resume. 

To save changes to your profile, click on "Update Settings" in the upper right corner.
